As our customer, you have the right, within 30 days from the date of delivery of the Embodied Moxie robot and/or accessories (“Moxie”) to return Moxie. If within the 30 days from receipt (which is defined by the delivery date recorded by the shipping company), you are not satisfied, you can return Moxie for a refund as detailed below.
Returns within first 15 Days
Our hassle-free return is available for first-time purchasers in which you will receive a full refund on the price paid for one Moxie (plus applicable tax). Embodied will pay for the return shipping in the continental United States. For returns outside the continental US (AK and HI, Puerto Rico or other American territories or protectorates), the shipping cost will be deducted from the customer’s refund. Please note that for additional purchased units of Moxie, our standard return policy applies.
Standard Return Policy
If you are not a first-time purchaser, or if you are returning after 15 days from receipt of Moxie, the Standard Return Policy applies. You can return Moxie for a refund (which includes the price paid of Moxie plus applicable tax, minus the return shipping fee, 20% restocking fee (any discounts are excluded), and any other applicable fees).
Because of the larger size of our product, we do not offer refunds for any shipping or delivery charges that you may have paid to receive your Moxie. Returns will be charged a return shipping fee depending on your location.
For All Returns
Moxie and accessories must be fully returned in the original packaging (including any inner protective material and the original outer shipping box) with the applicable proof of purchase (i.e., a sales receipt).
If, on return to us, it is determined that Moxie has been damaged, is missing components, is not in resalable condition and/or otherwise has signs of abuse, Embodied reserves the right to decline a refund request or we may charge a restocking fee or otherwise reduce the amount of your refund, at Embodied’s sole discretion, to take account of this damage or any missing components, or the amount of repair time it took to restore Moxie to working condition.
You should contact Embodied customer service at (855) 945-3411 or email@example.com. Embodied will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and a method for shipping. Embodied will also provide you a shipping address when you receive the RMA. If your return is not postmarked within 10 days of the RMA request, your refund will be canceled. It is your responsibility to keep a tracking number for any shipment of Moxie. Embodied is not responsible for packages lost in transit so it is important to have a tracking number for your return shipment.
Once we receive your Moxie, a refund will be initiated within 10-14 business days. Refunds for Moxie purchases will only be credited back to the original payment method. The way your refund is processed depends on your original payment method: If you paid by credit or debit card, refunds will be sent to the bank that issued your credit or debit card within 10-14 business days of receipt of the returned item or cancellation request. Please contact the bank with questions about when the credit will be posted to your account.
